We can transport small-sized animals- cats, dogs, small rodents, pet rabbits, ferrets of up to 10 kg (including the cage or soft-sided carrier). The pet must be transported in a IATA certified cage that doesn`t exceed the maximum dimensions of 46x31x25 cm so it can be placed under the seat in front of you. The cage/carrier must be fully closed, bite and leak proof. You can transport only one cage onboard.
To avoid any discomfort to the other passengers we will assign a seat in the back of the cabin (on the last rows).
To travel on Aeroitalia flights, the pet must have:
- Passport (for international flights) or health booklet (for domestic flights) issued by a veterinarian, which includes information about vaccinations (mandatory updated and valid rabies vaccination for international flights and for Sardinia) and the animal's health status.
- Microchip (for international flights).
- The minimum age of 12 weeks.
We allow a maximum of 2 pets per flight so we recommend adding the pet transport service when booking the ticket to avoid any availability issues.
